Topsoil tips

1) To topdress your existing lawn area, you should calculate at 1" depth. Related items hay, seed and fertilizer.

2) To fill a vegetable garden 8"-12" depth

3) New home seeded lawn 4"-6" depth

4) New home sodded lawn 3"-5" depth

5) Raised planting 12"-18" depth

Dirt isn't just dirt? There are multiple choices...

Dirt we sell

  • Fill - not filtered, may have big or small rocks, and foreign material, like tree roots, chunks of clay, etc.
  • Black Dirt - filtered. Should have no foreign material.
  • Pulverized Black Dirt - filtered, and pulverized into a fine very workable "powdery" dirt

To order dirt. Just gather the bed widths and lengths and the depth you will be spreading the mulch on. Choose type of dirt, call us, and we will do the rest
